My new best friend!
Really??? YEP! As those of you who read my blog know that I have suffered from acne and acne scars for A VERY LONG TIME. My parents and myself have spent thousands of dollars on skin products. I'm not even joking when I say thousands. I have even gone up to Salt Lake and spent tons of $ on laser treatments that hurt like no other. I've been on acutane or as they call it these days, isotretinoin, which worked great for me but didn't help with scaring....basicly I have tried everything under the sun. Anyways, after A LOT of suffering, crying myself to sleep, (I'm even bawling as I type) looking in the mirror and telling myself how ugly my scars and acne was, praying that it would just go away. I have FINALLY found that this is all I have needed. I read about it on pinterest and thought to myself, it cant hurt to just try, so I did. The BEST part is, it's like 4 dollars at wally world! Oh my helena, where have I been??? (probably what you're thinking now) Has my head just been in the clouds?? I guess so, cause if I would have known about this for my skin along time ago, it would have been FABULOUS!! I've been using it for about 3 weeks now and I can finally look in the mirror and not hate what I see. I've been reading up on it and it actually helps with a lot of stuff. I have yet to drink it or try it on my hair cause it smells horrible, but its helped with my skin so why not? Now, when you see me next time I'm NOT gonna be "glowing" or anything by no means, and I still have the occasional breakouts but it has helped me to feel better as a person. :) Try it, IT WORKS! (gosh I should do an infomercial, LOL)
The recipe: 1 part apple cider vinegar, 3 parts water
I just dip a cotton ball in it and use it as a toner morning and night. (the smell goes away after it drys and you put your moisturizer on;)
There are other things you can use along with it, like egg whites or honey that I still need to try...YAY for apple cider vinegar!
Kind of a stupid post, I know (even Chandler said, you're posting about vinegar?) but I want to remember this so if my kids suffer from acne, I can help.
