On Sunday we decided to have family over again for peach cobler, s'mores, and fireworks!! Mmmmm have I mentioned I LOVE sweets!!

We usually take the kids to the Nephi park 4th of July celebration, but instead of fighting for shade in the hot hot weather we decided to get the kids a fun little pool, and they couldn't have been happier! All the fam came over for a BBQ....I'm tellin ya, we love the BBQ's! I made the yummy dutch oven chicken we had at girls camp and trust me it was gobbled right up! We played volleyball, and went to the fireworks. We had a great day!

Auntie Jan looks like a glowing angel and she really is! I just love this lady there is never a dull moment when she is around! You just cant get enough of her laugh!

Papa Jimmy looks relaxed! He just had some cancer removed from his arm.

Grandma Janice would be angry if she seen I put this picture on here cause she has a bandage on her nose where she also had cancer removed. Her and papa Jimmy are quite the pair! They are the BEST!

And this is my cousin Casey who has been battling leukemia. Well, he WON THE BATTLE!! He is now cancer free!! What a strong kid! He's our SUPERMAN!!

Payson pool....

We started out the fourth of July weekend at the Payson pool! We always have a blast when we go there and the kids never want to leave! Wyatt even woke up the next morning saying, "go to payson pool! " They love the water although it takes them a little bit to warm up to "the big bucket that dings" (so McKall says) and dumps a ton of water on the kiddie area! It's FUN FUN! I didn't take very many pictures but here are just a few.

This one is from last year! "The dinging bucket" is just above the green slide and dumps the water all over this fun little area! Notice there are not many people in the pool, we stayed ALL DAY LONG till it closed! Oh and nice cheeser Chandler! ha ha

I spy with my little eye....a bare bum!

Wyatt has been doing so good with the potty! Although Chandler has taught him to go outside in the grass (no wonder there are a few little dead spots in the lawn, ha ha!) He thinks this is the coolest thing ever! Before bedtime he wants to go outside and go potty...It's a little dark out there bud! So here are a couple pictures I caught of him "pee pee in the gwass!" I had to change the color up a little or that bare bum would have blinded you!! Sorry for the nudity but it's so CUTE!!

More Young Womens!

Last night for Young Womens we went down to Kandas' house and had yummy hot dogs! It was the opening night of Eclipse so we only had 5 girls show up, but it was still lots of fun! Oh and I HAVE to mention that Lynelle, Kandas and I beat them in a volleyball game!! OH YA!

I seen these cool cupcakes on one of the food blogs I love to check out. So I decided to give em a shot for our treat at YW's. They were fun to make and my kids thought they were pretty neat! They each had two and wanted more!
I really enjoy making any type of sweets, but absolutley LOVE eating them!!
Dont mind the spillage!! ha ha I'm no perfectionist when it comes to cooking.

I think I'll make some red white and blue ones for the 4th of July and try to make the colors a little brighter.

Summer Summer Summer

Summertime is always my favorite! The kids love to be outside, and are always wanting to get into the water. They figured out how to turn it on so we have to watch them close cause one or the other always ends up drentched and crying and fighting cause, "he/she got me wet!" They are doing great though, the only bad thing is that they are growing up way too fast!

*I asked McKall why she was going to the bathroom in the dark. She said, "cause I'm saving energy!" Ummm ok!
*"Mom can you buy me some pixie dust so I can fly with
tinkerbell and the other fairies to the mainland!" Sure if I can come too!
*"Mom dont you think it's a good idea if we put my room in yours?" Pretty sure it wont fit!
*"I'm worried about Grandma Lori, she's getting old and I
dont want her to!" Your not old mom, just wise!
*"I drank milk from a box at school lunch today!"
*I told McKall if she would eat all her lunch she could have a
cupcake. She said in her sassy tone, "mom the cupcakes aren't that good!" Ok I'll eat it then!
*My mom was playing hide-n-seek with the kids and said to McKall, how did you find us? McKall said, "cause I used my brain and I have eyes in the back of my head." Ha ha silly girl only moms have eyes in the back of their heads!
*We were looking at my ultrasound pictures of when I was pregnant with McKall. I was showing her and telling her that it was her in my belly. She looked at me funny and said, "Mom why did you eat me?!?!?" We laughed and laughed!
*I told McKall it was time to do her hair and she said, "I dont want to." I asked her why not and she said, "it's just my attitude today!" Yep she has a little attitude!
*This girl LOVES cereal...must be my girl for sure! Both kids love to eat honey bunches of oats. McKall calls them "honey-a-boats"...it's cute, I love to hear her say, "mom I wanna eat honey-a-boats!!!"
*When I picked McKall up after work today she said to me, "I sure missed you today!" She's my favoritest girl in the world!

*I was helping McKall put her shirt on and she started singing, "I'm too sexy for my shirt!" It was stinkin hilarious. I asked her where she heard that and she said it's on Shrek 2, "Shrek Idol."
*McKall woke up this morning with a sleepy arm. I told her it will go away soon. She said, "I know how to make it better, I'll eat my breakfast and it will go straight to my arm. Then my arm will say, FOOD and wake up!"
*Chandler gave McKall a father's blessing. He explained to her what a father's blessing was before he gave her one. Not too long after the blessing she said to him, "dad I need another father's blessing, I have a headache." HA HA! At least she gets the concept of it!
*We were eating Sunday dinner and Chandler was saying how it was good and it hit the spot. McKall said, "ya if mom wasnt here we would starve to death." She's too dang CUTE!

*She gave a talk in church and when Chandler asked her if she was nervous she said, "I was a little but I just did my very best!" That's what counts sweetie...always do your BEST!!

*She woke up with a stuffy nose and said, "my nose is broken, I cant smell anything!"

*Her primary teacher told me that they were talking about Disneyland cause one of the boys in her class just got back. McKall jumped in and told her teacher that I was a mermaid and I ate bugs! What??? HA HA! Where she came up with that I will never know, but gosh she is silly!
*I was taking her to dancing and asked her if she needed me to go in with her to get her tap shoes on. Her reply, "no mom I have everything under control!" She is getting too old!

*We were watching Nickelodeon, there was a boy band singing and I said this is a weird song. McKall said in the funniest voice, "mom that's Big Time Rush!" Oh ok!!!
*We were watching birds out the window while we were eating and McKall said, "mom what kind of birds are those and what species are they from?" Ha ha, species??? REALLY?? Too cute!

*I just got done doing McKall's hair and asked her to get her pink shoes with diamonds on, she said, "mom your just trying to make me beautiful!" I told her we dont have to try to make her beautiful, that she already was! She said, "when I'm beautiful the boys just want to sit by me and not the girls!" Oh dear!!!!

*McKall told Chandler one night the pourch light was on and there were moths and bugs flying all around. "Dad did you know that those moths are nocturtle?!"(nocturnal) "There are lots of bugs and animals that are nocturtle, and that means they only come out at night!" HA HA she is too smart for her own good!

*I made chicken and fries for dinner the other night. Wyatt wanted to say the prayer, so I was helping him out. I told him to say please bless the food and he said, "pwease bwess the
chicken uggets and fwench fwies!!" I just about couldn't help him finish! LOL! Too cute!

was holding Wyatt and standing next to it. He said, "mom dat you, a pwincess!" AWWW thanks sweet boy!
*"To infini and beyon" (To infinity and beyond!) This is one of my favorites cause I love the look on his face when I tell him I love him "to infini and beyon!!!"
*Wyatt loves Shrek 2! He asked Chandler, "Dad, I get a cat wif BOOTS?" The way he says "boots" is hilarious!
*If Wyatt wants to watch "UP" he says, "I na watch da one wif da nose," and grabs his nose. It's funny that Mr. Fredrickson's nose is what stands out most to him!

*This kid hates brushing his teeth and will do anything to try to get out of it. Chandler told to him to come brush his teeth and he said, "you gimmie a dolwar?" Chandler said I'll give you a penny and Wyatt said, "no five dolwars!" HA HA! He's no dummy!
*Wyatt's famous words are "dats da wast time!" If we say no more candy or no more mario brothers (wii) or anything, he says, "pweas dats da wast time!" He always wants JUST ONE MORE!!!
*Wyatt's new word is "skibbies!"(skivies) It's so funny to hear him say, "get you skibbies on!"
