This took quite a while to get done but it's finally there and Chandler did a fabulous paint job! Although
I dont think I can bring myself to let him sleep in it quite yet...maybe another month or so.

Easton's special day!

Our sweet little Easton James had his blessing day on Saturday, January 14th. We decided to do it just in our home, a little scrunchy, but we're a close family so it worked great! Chandler gave him a beautiful blessing. He is such a sweet baby and we have been so blessed to have him in our family.

We've been busy busy busy!

A lot has happened in the past few months so I think I'll just put it all together in a nutshell and post pictures...they're more fun anyways! Although when I went to put my card into the computer to download all the pictures, a ton of them got erased by one of the stinker butt Mitchell kids :( sad sad day. My fault though for leaving the camera in 6 and 4 year olds arms reach. So most of the pictures are from my phone, not the best, but they'll work.
*Easton is growing right before our eyes.
*Halloween - fun
*McKall turned 6! We took her, Wyatt, Hallie, and Leyla to Jumpin Jacks and McDonalds...fun fun!
*Thanksgiving - Delicious food and shopping madness!
*Easton had his 6 week well child check and was/is healthy as ever...weighing in at 13 lbs. 6 oz. - way to go Easton!!
*McKall got sick and it turned out horrible yet again. :( The poor little thing had gastroparesis, (her stomach was paralyzed) it was in no way fun AT ALL...in fact it was the worst 3 1/2 weeks of our lifes. She threw up and had diarrhea so much that she lost like 5 pounds. My heart broke for her, but we got through it like always and she is doing great! She is one tough little girl! Dr. Rosenbeck said she is going to give us gray hair before she is even dating, and him too! LOL!
*Wyatt turned 4! We took him, McKall, Ryker, Kaden and Preston to see Alvin and The Chipmunks - super cute movie!
*Easton is still growing way to fast! Cant believe he is already 14 weeks. He sleeps like a champ, from 10 to about 7 or 7:30...it's FABULOUS! My favorite thing is waking up to his huge grin every morning. His chubby cheeks are still so KISSABLE...love it! McKall and Wyatt cant get enough of him. They (McKall especially) love to help with him in anyway they can!
*Christmas - spoiled kids and awesome family time! Breakfast at Rachel Maggen's is always my fav, it was DELISH! Chandler and I gave McKall and Wyatt leap pads and Easton a cute little thing for him to lay on and look at himself (what the crap do you call them??)...which he loves. It has some cute music and sounds! Santa brought them (Chandler too;) an xbox kinect...some of the games can be a workout for sure...phew!
*New Years - Fun P-A-R-T-Y at aunt Jan's house!
New Years resolution - there are too many things I need to work on so let's just say, to be a better wife/mom/daughter/sister/friend.
We are looking forward to 2012 and are excited for what it has in store for us!

Story time!

I dont want to forget anything about my delivery with Easton and it's a must to tell the whole delivery story, right?!
So I had it in my head that I was going to have an October baby and I wasn't about to let him come early...I totally jinxed myself, and Easton had other plans. September 27th I woke up feeling pretty darn good and went to work. As the day went on I started feeling a few pains...NO, NO, NO, not yet!! I sat my butt in the chair all day long and tried not to move around too much. I left work early to go home and put my feet up and I didn't move the rest of the night. I layed in bed tossing and turning with horrible pains till about 3:00 am. I finally woke Chandler up and told him I couldn't take it anymore and that he needed to get me to the hospital...NOW!!! He called my mom to come stay with the kids and off we ventured to welcome our sweet baby into our family...it was an adventurous delivery for sure. We got there and I was dilated to a 7 so they got my epidural right away. I layed there between contractions thinking ok it's working, but it wasn't, dang it. They gave me more medicine but all it was doing was making my left leg horribly numb. By this time Dr. Bailey had broken my water and I was almost complete so they couldn't take out my epidural and try again :( I had to be tough like the women that do this stuff without medicine...I was scared out of my mind, I know I'm a big fat baby! I got through it, with a few bumps in the road, (which I could not have gotten through without Dr. Bailey) but I did it and the biggest thing...Easton was here safe and sound and sweet as ever!!

Now, he is sleeping through the night, he is always smiling, he is so easy going, he does the sweetest little cooing sounds, and he's a little chunk! I could seriously kiss his cheeks all day long. I could not have asked for a better third child. He melts my heart and he is just growing so fast. Before I know it I'll be reading this to him and he'll say, read it again mom!! Makes me so sad to think about :( It's like he's been a part of our family forever...WE LOVE YOU EASTON, MORE THAN YOU'LL EVER KNOW!

*I asked McKall why she was going to the bathroom in the dark. She said, "cause I'm saving energy!" Ummm ok!
*"Mom can you buy me some pixie dust so I can fly with
tinkerbell and the other fairies to the mainland!" Sure if I can come too!
*"Mom dont you think it's a good idea if we put my room in yours?" Pretty sure it wont fit!
*"I'm worried about Grandma Lori, she's getting old and I
dont want her to!" Your not old mom, just wise!
*"I drank milk from a box at school lunch today!"
*I told McKall if she would eat all her lunch she could have a
cupcake. She said in her sassy tone, "mom the cupcakes aren't that good!" Ok I'll eat it then!
*My mom was playing hide-n-seek with the kids and said to McKall, how did you find us? McKall said, "cause I used my brain and I have eyes in the back of my head." Ha ha silly girl only moms have eyes in the back of their heads!
*We were looking at my ultrasound pictures of when I was pregnant with McKall. I was showing her and telling her that it was her in my belly. She looked at me funny and said, "Mom why did you eat me?!?!?" We laughed and laughed!
*I told McKall it was time to do her hair and she said, "I dont want to." I asked her why not and she said, "it's just my attitude today!" Yep she has a little attitude!
*This girl LOVES cereal...must be my girl for sure! Both kids love to eat honey bunches of oats. McKall calls them "honey-a-boats"...it's cute, I love to hear her say, "mom I wanna eat honey-a-boats!!!"
*When I picked McKall up after work today she said to me, "I sure missed you today!" She's my favoritest girl in the world!

*I was helping McKall put her shirt on and she started singing, "I'm too sexy for my shirt!" It was stinkin hilarious. I asked her where she heard that and she said it's on Shrek 2, "Shrek Idol."
*McKall woke up this morning with a sleepy arm. I told her it will go away soon. She said, "I know how to make it better, I'll eat my breakfast and it will go straight to my arm. Then my arm will say, FOOD and wake up!"
*Chandler gave McKall a father's blessing. He explained to her what a father's blessing was before he gave her one. Not too long after the blessing she said to him, "dad I need another father's blessing, I have a headache." HA HA! At least she gets the concept of it!
*We were eating Sunday dinner and Chandler was saying how it was good and it hit the spot. McKall said, "ya if mom wasnt here we would starve to death." She's too dang CUTE!

*She gave a talk in church and when Chandler asked her if she was nervous she said, "I was a little but I just did my very best!" That's what counts sweetie...always do your BEST!!

*She was sick and tired of being sick and tired! She said to
Chandler, "If you wouldn't have got me in this mess, I wouldn't be in this mess!" Chandler said, "what do you mean?" She said, "you got me sick and got me in this mess!" LOL!

*She told me out of the blue..."Mom when Santa comes next time I'm not going to give him cookies, I'm going to give him a banana or grapes so he doesn't get any fatter!"
*She woke up with a stuffy nose and said, "my nose is broken, I cant smell anything!"

*Her primary teacher told me that they were talking about Disneyland cause one of the boys in her class just got back. McKall jumped in and told her teacher that I was a mermaid and I ate bugs! What??? HA HA! Where she came up with that I will never know, but gosh she is silly!
*I was taking her to dancing and asked her if she needed me to go in with her to get her tap shoes on. Her reply, "no mom I have everything under control!" She is getting too old!

*We were watching Nickelodeon, there was a boy band singing and I said this is a weird song. McKall said in the funniest voice, "mom that's Big Time Rush!" Oh ok!!!
*We were watching birds out the window while we were eating and McKall said, "mom what kind of birds are those and what species are they from?" Ha ha, species??? REALLY?? Too cute!

*I just got done doing McKall's hair and asked her to get her pink shoes with diamonds on, she said, "mom your just trying to make me beautiful!" I told her we dont have to try to make her beautiful, that she already was! She said, "when I'm beautiful the boys just want to sit by me and not the girls!" Oh dear!!!!

*McKall told Chandler one night the pourch light was on and there were moths and bugs flying all around. "Dad did you know that those moths are nocturtle?!"(nocturnal) "There are lots of bugs and animals that are nocturtle, and that means they only come out at night!" HA HA she is too smart for her own good!

*If Wyatt wants me to hold him he says, "hold you mom hold you!" So sweet!
*McKall was teasing Wyatt and would not give him his ball. Wyatt got mad, took his hat off, threw it down and said "Fine den I fro a fit!" Funny funny kid!

*When Wyatt gets mad at you he says, "no talka me," or "no wook at me!" He has a little temper like his dad!! Ha ha!
*I made chicken and fries for dinner the other night. Wyatt wanted to say the prayer, so I was helping him out. I told him to say please bless the food and he said, "pwease bwess the
chicken uggets and fwench fwies!!" I just about couldn't help him finish! LOL! Too cute!

*I have one of my bridal pictures hanging in our bedroom . I
was holding Wyatt and standing next to it. He said, "mom dat you, a pwincess!" AWWW thanks sweet boy!
*"To infini and beyon" (To infinity and beyond!) This is one of my favorites cause I love the look on his face when I tell him I love him "to infini and beyon!!!"
*Wyatt loves Shrek 2! He asked Chandler, "Dad, I get a cat wif BOOTS?" The way he says "boots" is hilarious!
*If Wyatt wants to watch "UP" he says, "I na watch da one wif da nose," and grabs his nose. It's funny that Mr. Fredrickson's nose is what stands out most to him!

*When Chandler and Wyatt wrestle, Wyatt always says "Tap Out dad!" He wins most of the time too! ;)
*If you ask him who his favorite pirate is he says, "Captain Jack Sparrow!" Then he'll say, "Jack wost (lost) his hat mom!" He loves the "Pirates of The Caribbean" movies.

*This kid has the best nose ever! He can smell anything and everything. It's so funny when he smells something he says, "I smell somedin, what's dat smell, I smell somedin!" Ha Ha!

*His new word these days is "chicken butt!" He calls everyone chicken butt! What a kid
*This kid hates brushing his teeth and will do anything to try to get out of it. Chandler told to him to come brush his teeth and he said, "you gimmie a dolwar?" Chandler said I'll give you a penny and Wyatt said, "no five dolwars!" HA HA! He's no dummy!
*Wyatt's famous words are "dats da wast time!" If we say no more candy or no more mario brothers (wii) or anything, he says, "pweas dats da wast time!" He always wants JUST ONE MORE!!!
*Wyatt's new word is "skibbies!"(skivies) It's so funny to hear him say, "get you skibbies on!"
