Here we go again....

These past couple months have no doubt been a rollercoaster for us Mitchell's. We had a little scare on Friday May 13th....yep Friday the 13th was very much a scary day for us. We took McKall to the doctor with what we thought was a viral infection and thought for sure they would send us home with some medicine and say it just needed to run it's course. We weren't so lucky :( Instead of home, it was yet another trip with our little sweetie to Primary Childrens. This time it all happened so fast and once we found out it was her appendix we were in a huge rush to get her up there. I honestly didn't realize how scary this all was until we asked Dr. Rosenbeck if we could run home and grab a change of clothes. He said, no, you need to get her up there NOW, and as fast as you can without wrecking or getting a ticket. Oh man, this was not good. All we had time for was a quick blessing, which Chandler did an amazing job!
On our way I had remembered praying my heart out the first time we took her to Primary Childrens and everything turned out okay. All I could think this time was PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE bless that her appendix had not perforated yet and that my little gal would be okay again. Chandler and I were quite scared but McKall was so brave and strong the entire time. Her fever got way high and she was so thursty but could not eat or drink anything until they were done with the surgery. She did so well and it was a huge relief when Dr. Black told us they had not ruptured yet and we caught it just in time. FEWWW, THANK YOU DR. ROSENBECK! Had they ruptured, they said we would be there about 6 or 7 days getting her anibiotics. We were only there 3 days and she didn't have a whole lot of infection. The nurses and doctors were amazing and McKall loved all the attention she got from them! And not to forget her favorite, the wagon, she LOVED it!
We got home and she had lots of sweet visitors that brought her some fun goodies!! She was able to dance in the revue and go to her preschool graduation that same week (which you'll see a couple posts back) with no problems at all! What a tough little gal!
Here I am, yet again THANKING my hubby, my mom, my dad, and my amazing sister whom I could not go through these hard times without. We have had so much help lately from some really awesome people. Still to this day we go to church or work or the grocery store and have lots of caring people ask how we are doing. It's so good to say, we are doing GREAT!! Now it's my turn....I pray every day that the Lord will help me know who I can be of service to and help in any way I can. I think it's high time us Mitchell's get a break from hospitals until October!!! ;)
Sorry these pictures are not the greatest...they were taken with our cell phones.

IT'S A........

BOY!!! YAHOOOO! I went to Maternal Fetal Medicine and had my 20 week ultrasound about a week ago! We took McKall and Wyatt with us and they loved seeing their little brother! We laughed at some of the crazy 3-D pictures the doc was getting for us, saying that he looked like an alien! LOL! We caught a picture of him sucking on something and it was the cutest thing! They said he looks fantastic and to just keep on takin my heart medicine and everything should hopefully be a-ok and I'll be able to deliever in Nephi. I've been feeling really good here lately and things are finally looking up, YAY...knock on wood ;)

This is one of the cool pictures the doc got for us! Looks like he is waving at us...so cute!

I'm not the best at keeping up on the belly pictures but here we are at 21 weeks.....

We're thinking about the name Easton James...James being after my grandpa, whom Dr. Feltovich said I have to thank for my bad heart ;) Love ya grandpa!!

She did it!!!!

McKall graduated from preschool on May 20th, a bitter sweet day. I know I've said this a thousand and two times, but I'll say it again and again....Mrs. Blackett is thee best preschool teacher EVER!! McKall is going to miss her so much! Lucky for us though, Wyatt will be going to see her soon enough! She has taught McKall so much and we cant THANK her enough for being so wonderful!
McKall, we love you so very much and are so proud of you! Your such a little smartie pants! WAY TO GO LITTLE LADY! ;) Kindergarten here we come!!!

A Night Of Stars!

McKall had her dance revue about 2 weeks ago. She loves dancing and she loves her dance teacher, Miss Lisa too...she is one talented woman!
She performed three different dances, I Want Candy, Pixy Hallow, and Pretty Woman. It was so much fun to watch all the cute dances! She's my favorite little dancer and we cant wait till next year!!

Mother's Day!

I have the best children in the world and to call myself their mother brings me so much joy and happiness! They mean the world to me and I cant imagine life without them! They gave me the cutest pot and flowers. Chandler said they planted the flowers in the pot all by themselves. I also have to say that I have such an amazing mom who is always there for me and helps me so much, I love her dearly. There are so many amazing moms in my life that I look up to and love! Hope everyone had a wonderful Mother's Day! (sorry I'm so late with this;)

Can you tell the sun was blinding us?!?

Easter 2011

I am so far behind that this is really not fun to read about anymore. Oh well, I still want to post about it to remember the good times! Chandler and I purchased our little family a sweet new trailer and decided to take it out west for a little Easter campage! Although it rained and we froze our nay nay's off we were still together as a family and enjoyed each others company! That's what it's all about.....

4-wheelers and motorcycles!

Eating mallows and flying kites!

Coloring eggs and sleeping in the new trailer!

I'm not sure what happened to the picture I had of Wyatt and his basket :( but he got just as much loot as McKall!

SO MUCH FUN!

Easter Sunday we went to Rachel's house and watched my favorite LDS movie, The Testement. Everytime I watch it I cant help but cry my eyes out. Chandler even said to me after, "gosh I dont think I've seen you cry like that before." Just sitting here typing this makes me think about it and brings tears to my eyes. It's a must see movie and it was a fabulous way to remind us all why we celebrate Easter! I love my Savior and my family with all my heart!
