The dreaded pile....GONE!!

So when we gave our backyard a makeover we took out a HUGE stump...and I'm talkin HUGE! We took out a bunch of dirt and grass and had new brought in. So there sat this big pile of dirt on the side of our garage and we had no idea how we were going to get rid of it. Just the other day our very kind neighbor (whom I'm sure got sick of seeing this weed/dirt pile everytime he drove by) came over with his tractor and dump truck and got rid of it for us! What a nice man, a great big THANKS to Dave Worwood. It's on my to do list to make him some of my yummy banana bread! It's so nice to not have to look at that ugly pile anymore!

More water fun!

The other day it was like 96 degrees out, so we decided to fill up pool and cool off! The kids were being hilarious! They were throwing water on each other and taking the hose and squirting each other. They had Chandler and I rolling! I thought for sure it would turn into a big fight but they just kept playing and laughing! I love it when they play together and laugh like this, it makes my heart happy..he he!

Saturday we went up North to get a few things for our Palisades trip next weekend! Then it was off to the big Mona fireworks (the one and only big firework show where Chandler and I met about 8 yrs ago;) They were pretty amazing! My uncle John is the fire chief out there and they do a great job every year!

We didn't do a whole lot for the 24th this year. Friday we cleaned out our basement...yipee! We went and ate at One Man Band then took a little drive up to Devil's kitchen. Oh yes and then that night...zumba! I love this stuff, it makes me feel good! I dont usually sweat during a workout but man I'm dripping wet when we get done with this! It's AWESOME and I think this is something I will want to stick with for a good workout! Yah for ZUUUMBA!

I'm not joking when I say this girl loves to shake it and she's a good little shaker too! Sometimes I will catch her in her room "dancing like no one is watching!" Little does she know that I get a few peeks in on her here and there! Anyways, she was able to participate in Mini Drill this year! She was so excited! The drill team and Miss Lisa put it on for them, it goes 3 days and they get a cute little shirt! YEAH for the drill team and Lisa...your amazing! Each morning McKall would wake up and say, "what's today, is aunt Krista taking me to mini drill?" She was just a little excited!

My favorite Drill Teamer, neighbor gal, and young womens sweetheart! Brittney is someone I would definetly want McKall to look up to. She is the sweetest gal ever! I just love her!

The dreaded dentist...

So about a month ago I took the kids to their routine dentist appointments. I told myself it was going to be a good visit cause the kids are so good about letting me brush and floss morning and night. McKall has always had a big fear of them taking pictures/x-rays of her teeth, but she finally let them and they found out that she has infections/cavities on all 4 sides of her back teeth. Her baby teeth are just far enough apart to where food gets stuck inbetween them and causes infection. This is a good and a bad thing, good for her permanant teeth but bad for her baby teeth. Then the Dr. told me she was going to need them all capped. :( I was so upset and felt like the worst mom in the world. The Dr. made me feel a little better though when he told me his daughter had the very same thing and it happens quite a bit. So yesterday she had two caps put on one side of her teeth. Chandler and I were dreading it and thought she was going to kick and scream, but she was AwEsOmE!! She didn't move a muscle the entire time. The Dr. told her she was an angel and she just laughed. Pretty sure the gas made her a little loopy! We took her to Walmart and she picked out a prize for being so good! Here are a few pictures I got of her...

4th of July weekend...and lots of pictures!

On Monday we headed to Yuba to do a little fishin! The kids were catching fish right and left. Although they were nasty carp, they still had a BlAsT! I love to fish and reeling it in is the best part especially when you can feel it's a "monster fish" on the other end! If you ask Chandler and his dad who caught the one and only "monster fish" on Island Park reservoir, pretty sure they would lie and say one of them. When actually it was ME...a girl!!! HA HA! Talk about FUN!!
